  • Deep fibular/peroneal nerve and dorsalis pedis artery

  • Anterior joint recess

  • Anterior joint capsule

  • Anterior inferior tibiofibular ligament

 Lateral Ankle

  • Fibularis (peroneus) longus and brevis tendons and muscles

  • Sural nerve (as indicated)

  • Posterior talofibular ligament 

  • Superior fibular (peroneal) retinaculum

  • Dynamic assessment for fibular (peroneal) subluxation (as indicated) 

  • Calcaneofibular ligament (including posterior subtalar joint)

  • Fibularis (peroneus) longus and brevis tendons and muscles

  • Fibularis (peroneus) longus and brevis tendons and muscles

  • Calcaneofibular ligament

  • Anterior talofibular ligament

 Medial Ankle

  • Posterior tibialis tendon and muscle

  • Flexor digitorum longus tendon and muscle

  • Flexor digitorum longus tendon

  • Flexor hallucis longus tendon 

  • Tibial artery/vein 

  • Posterior tibial nerve 

  • Medial and lateral plantar nerves (as indicated)

  • Deltoid ligament and medial tibiotalar joint
